Privacy Policy

Updated: 29 July 2026

Homeosetu (“our,” “us” or “we”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, study courses, software applications, and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services") owned or operated by Homeosetu Software LLP (“Website Owner”).

This Privacy Policy governs our data collection, processing, and usage practices. It describes your choices regarding the use of, access to, erasure of, and correction of your personal information. This policy does not apply to the products or websites of our business partners, affiliates, or to any other third parties, even if their products or websites are linked to or from our Services.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we collect, use, or process your personal information, please contact us using the contact details described in the Contact Us section.

1. Definitions

We use some terms in this Privacy Policy that we want to highlight for you:

  • “Business partner(s)” means any subcontractor, vendor, or other entity with whom we have a business relationship to provide products, services, payment processing services, or information.
  • “Financial information” means debit card, credit card, or other payment card information, personal financial account information, and other financial information you provide when you purchase our products and/or services.
  • “Personal information” means information which identifies you or which combined may identify you, such as your name, telephone number, home address, email address, Internet Protocol (IP) address, professional credentials (such as medical registration numbers), location data, and any other information that would permit us to identify you physically or online.
  • "Services" refers to our website, online study courses, downloadable or cloud-based software, and our specialized mobile applications.

2. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We may ask you to provide personal information when you:

  • Visit our websites;
  • Create a Homeosetu account;
  • Enroll in or access our study courses;
  • Download, install, or use our software products;
  • Register for and use our upcoming Mobile App (restricted to Homeopathic Doctors/practitioners);
  • Request services, support, or information;
  • Purchase our products or services (including inputting activation keys/coupon codes);
  • Participate in sweepstakes, surveys, or other advertising activities;
  • Subscribe to newsletters and promotional emails.

2.1 Visit our Websites

We collect information when you visit our websites, including the pages you view, links you click, and other actions you take. We also collect browser information, such as your IP address, MAC address, browser type, operating system, the date and time of access, session duration, cookies, and referring URLs.

“Financial information” means billing details, payment status, and order history associated with your purchases. Homeosetu does not collect, process, or store full credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, UPI details, or bank account credentials. All payment transactions are handled directly by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processors (such as Razorpay).

2.2 Create a Homeosetu Account & Professional Verification

You can browse public areas of our website without creating an account, but an account is required to purchase study courses, access software, or use our mobile app. Account creation, login, and identity management are secured through our authentication provider, Clerk. You may create an account by providing an email address and password, or by using single sign-on options such as Google.

Information stored in your account includes your customer ID, contact details (name, email address, billing address, telephone number), and purchase history. We do not collect or store your payment card numbers or banking credentials—all online payments are processed directly by our secure third-party payment gateway partner, Razorpay.

Special Notice for Mobile App Users: Because our mobile app is strictly designed for homeopathic doctors and registered practitioners, we may collect additional professional information during account creation or verification—such as your medical registration number, clinical affiliation, or degree details—to verify your eligibility to use the application.

(Note: If you choose to authenticate using Google, the transfer and use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements).

2.3 Use of Study Courses and Cloud-Based Software

When you interact with our study courses, we collect data regarding your learning progress, course completion, and assessment scores.

Our software operates as a cloud-based platform accessed through a web browser or installed as a web application shortcut on your desktop or mobile device. Because our software runs on cloud servers, we do not collect or scan your local device’s hardware specifications.

When you use our cloud software, we collect account authorization details, subscription status, active session logs, browser/device type (for proper interface rendering), and general feature usage data. This information is used to ensure uninterrupted access, maintain security, optimize software performance, and prevent unauthorized account sharing or abuse.

2.4 Request Services, Support, or Information

If you request support, we may request your name, email, home address, and phone number. We may also ask for technical information, such as the software version you are using, operating system details, and the nature of your issue. If you permit remote access for support, we will receive technical non-personal information regarding your device.

2.5 Download A Trial Product or Purchase our Products

If you request a free trial of our software or courses, we ask for your email to send activation keys/coupon codes. If you purchase products, we collect the necessary billing and contact details. This information is saved in “My Account” for future transactions.

2.6 Interact with Social Media

Our website may include links that direct you to our official social media pages (such as Facebook, Instagram, or X) or display content originating from these platforms (such as embedded testimonials). Clicking these links or interacting with external content will direct you away from our website to the respective social media platform. Those platforms may collect personal information about you in accordance with their own privacy policies and your account settings with them.

We do not currently use active "like" or "share" tracking buttons on our website. As noted in Section 2.2, you have the option to securely log into your Homeosetu account using single sign-on (SSO) via Google; we do not currently support SSO through Yahoo, AOL, or other social media providers.

2.7 Contact Us or Provide Feedback

When you contact us via phone or email, we collect the information you choose to provide. Homeosetu owns any feedback or comments you provide and may retain them indefinitely, though we will strip personally identifiable information from public feedback unless needed for a specific business purpose.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

Homeosetu uses your personal and technical information to:

  • Verify your professional credentials to grant access to restricted platforms (such as our mobile app reserved exclusively for homeopathic doctors and registered practitioners).
  • Deliver study courses, software subscriptions, and application access.
  • Provide customer support, troubleshoot technical issues, and respond to your inquiries.
  • Complete transactions, process refunds/chargebacks (where applicable), and fulfill accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
  • Send operational communications, such as order confirmations, receipt notifications, password reset requests, and subscription expiration reminders.
  • Provide software updates, service announcements, and new feature notifications for our web platform and mobile apps.
  • Maintain, secure, and improve our study courses, cloud software, websites, and overall platform experience.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service, conditions of sale, and end-user agreements.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized account sharing, platform abuse, or security breaches.

In order to offer you a more consistent and personalized experience, personal information collected through one source may be combined with information obtained through other sources across our services. We will ask for your consent before using your information for any purpose not set out in this Privacy Policy.

4. Disclosing Personal Information

We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, conducting our business, or serving you. These include:

  • Authentication and Security Providers (e.g., Clerk) to handle identity management, user sign-ins, and account security.
  • Payment Processing Gateways (e.g., Razorpay) to process online course and software subscription payments securely.
  • Cloud Hosting and Infrastructure Providers to host our website, software databases, and mobile application services.

We require all service providers to respect the security of your personal data and process it in accordance with applicable laws. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may also disclose your personal information if required by law, subpoena, or legal action, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Homeosetu, our users, or the public.

In the event that Homeosetu Software LLP undergoes a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer records (including course progress, software subscription histories, and practitioner verification status) may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to the protections outlined in this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures—including SSL encryption and secure cloud infrastructure—to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

While we strive to protect your personal data using industry-standard measures, no internet transmission or cloud storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential (such as your account passwords or connected Google accounts) and restricting access to your personal devices.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access & Rectification: You can review and update your personal details at any time through your account settings or request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Erasure / Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal, accounting, or audit obligations where we are legally required to retain certain records.
  • Marketing Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing communication.

Please note: Even if you opt out of promotional emails, you will continue to receive non-promotional, operational communications (such as payment receipts, password resets, account verification notices, or critical software and mobile app updates).

To exercise any of these rights or ask questions about your personal data, please contact us at info@homeosetu.com
